Are you interested in:
– having more people in the world getting paid for who they are?
– your friends reading this with you?
– raising more money for charity?

THE TOP FOUR THINGS YOU CAN DO
1) Join the Freedom Ninja mailing list (you’ll get an occasional email with what’s happening, and what you can do to spread the word. If you already got an email about it, then you’re ON THE TEAM).

2) Tweet and Facebook and email the free offer using your unique link

3) Replace your twitter and facebook with the book cover for a week: FaceBook Profile image and Twitter Profile image (Right click and Save As to your hard drive, then upload to twitter and facebook).

4) Write a book review on Amazon. (If you’re really enthusiastic, you can even do a video review!)

OTHER COOL WAYS TO SPREAD THE WORD
5) Post relevant comments on top blogs (try these top 20 relevant blogs). e.g. “I found Get Paid For Who You Are for simple strategies on building a website – has anyone read that? (www.getpaidforwhoyouare.com)” or “This is really useful. I’ve been following the book Get Paid For Who You Are (www.getpaidforwhoyouare.com) but it doesn’t mention this – I’ll try it out”.
Important: be sure to have read the post you’re commenting on, and that you’re truly posting something relevant and useful to their blog. Cookie-cutter cut and pasting would just be spam.

6) Share the funny avatar viral video link – www.AvatarAuditions.com – on avatar blogs. This video directs people at the end to the Get Paid website. (e.g. Google ‘avatar blog’ and post something like ‘just found this hilarious video spoof http://www.AvatarAuditions.com’. But be sure to use your own words.)

Finally an easy step by step book.
This is the book I was waiting for! It describes in an enthusiastic, easy, friendly way the steps you need to take for getting your website up and running, how to make your newsletter and your first products. For a beginner the first three chapters are the most important break-throughs . It got me over my lack of know-how and with that it eliminated my fear of taking action! If this book does not get me there then I better stop thinking of having ever my very own business!!
David did not only write the book but helps you actual further with his blog en sites. Any question you have you can send him. His generosity and sincerity is one of a kind.
On top of all that, David sets you up sharing your steps with your friends which guides you into a ‘Freedom Buddy” system that develops naturally. 4 of my friends are enthusiastic with me and we support each other on a weekly basis in the steps we need to take.
“Get paid for who you are” is a book to have and to give away!

  2. This is a great book for those just starting and haven’t built their business yet. I am in a slightly different place as I have been in business since 2004 and have a few websites up already. I also have had a Freedom Buddy (my husband) for a while too.
That being said, I am in a place of transition with my business where I am looking to enhance my internet presence and profitability. This book is great for that also! I’m psyched by the enthusiasm in this book as well as the great ideas. I’m seeing major results in my business’s web presence already by implementing some of these ideas! Thanks so much!
P.S. I tried to tag this on Amazon but my netbook wouldn’t let me. I’ll pass on the info to my email list though! 🙂

    Hi David,
It seems you have to have purchased the book on amazon before you can post a review. How can I go around that? Thanks for your answer.

I would love to post a review because I have things to say about this book and David. However, Amazon will not let me post until 24 hrs after I purchase the book. For me the shipping costs almost more than the book. I am not willing to pay that shipping cost.

I will however pay for a book and donate it to someone State side who needs it. Don’t know how to do that but if someone can tell me, I will do so.

    My review would say:

I absolutely recommend this book and the style that David Woods uses to help entrepreurs “earn an income online”. This guy is not only logical in his process (that makes it easy to follow) but he is hilarious and he is dedicated, sincere and honest. A very rare combination, but one that will help you achieve your goals. Definitely – get into this whole scene with your dreams, goals and heart. Well worth the effort!!

So, that’s what I would say if I could say! Daisy Lee

Follow your dream and make money doing it!

This book does exactly what it claims. It is a step-by-step guide that inspires, encourages and guides you through the process of following your passion and getting paid for it. David’s writing is easy to read and very accessible. He lays a great foundation and points you towards additional resources, including his very helpful GetPaidUniversity. His blog and website have allowed me to connect with others who have read the book and are following his steps, creating a community of people to turn to for advice and support. David’s personal involvement in the form of blog posts, emails and conference calls has added a whole new level to the project.
In less than two weeks, I am ready to launch my own website and business. I have been amazed and humbled at the response I’m receiving from friends and family, just for being who I am.
    Thanks, David!

I agree with everyone so far that the book is a great resource. I am eager to follow the steps however I am still trying to figure out how I am going to approach my niche. I am passionate about wine and I also have over 25 years of experience as a human resources executive. I want to come up with a way to highlight both of my passions in my business. Any ideas anyone?

  8. Good afternoon David,
Here is the review I posted to Amazon today.

By the time this book was published I had already done about half the things required. But, there is more information in that little book that I plan to utilize than in most things I’ve read so far. The book is easy to read and totally honest about what you can achieve with great ideas and information on how to do it. Much of the information in this book centers around things I’ve been considering but was not totally sure on how to go about it. Now I know, the steps are laid out in a simple and easy to use fashion. I plan on instituting several of these ideas over the next few weeks. I am very happy I have this book and have tabbed several pages for reference in the future. I have already begun recommending this book to people I know who also have small, home based businesses.

    Thanks for a great book.
    DD

    Hey David,

Here’s the review I posted on Amazon. Kudos to you – this is a fantastic book!

    (Five out of Five Stars)

    Down-to-Earth, Accurate & Timely Advice

I enjoyed this book immensely, and I can’t wait to implement these easy-to-follow instructions to getting my internet business going. The author is/was a life coach, and the benefits of his background become clear to the reader from the first pages of the book: David Wood leads, inspires, cheers you on, and above all, builds your confidence in your own ability to succeed.

Beyond this, he is a master marketer, and everything he teaches about creating your own online presence to share your unique expertise with the world is spot-on with regard to best practices in internet marketing. How do I know? I spend hours each week reading white papers and marketing blogs, and attending online teleseminars that are teaching exactly what Wood offers in this concise manual. But the great news is that you don’t have to have any marketing savvy at all – all YOU need to do is follow the simple steps in Get Paid for Who You Are and you’ll be on your way.

I’ve read other things that David Wood has written, including the CoachStart Manual he mentions in the Get Paid book, and I think he’s a down-to-earth, honest guy, who genuinely has both tremendous marketing acumen as well as integrity and a strong desire to help others succeed. What a knock-out combination. This one’s a winner!

I love this book because the steps are really in it. The downloadable book is great with all the links for us to take action while reading the book. I always have problem with making notes and not getting back to it later, but with David’ s book It is so easy to take action, and this is the fundamental step to get anything done. Action, ready, aim.
Love the fact that Get Paid For Who You Are became a way to connect and establish partnership, because I can’t do it all alone.

    Thank you David.

An Honest Appeal to Encourage Charitable Giving, May 18, 2010

This review is from: Get Paid For Who You Are (Paperback)
David Wood is a remarkable guy. He shares his years of experience with those who wish to set up and run a successful internet business. His book is clear and concise about every step in the process without any of the “techie lingo.” The most remarkable part is that he willingly shares what other courses charge enormous fees. And he does this primarily to promote charitable giving to a couple of outstanding, world changing organizations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Step by Step Guide to YOUR Internet Business, May 18, 2010
By Dawn M. Davidson “Life catalyst & alternative… (San Leandro, CA United States) – See all my reviews
    (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Get Paid For Who You Are (Paperback)
This book is a very clear, concise, step-by-step guide to creating your own Internet business. Whatever your concerns about things that might get in the way of your success, David Wood addresses them. All you need is a computer (could be a used laptop) an internet connection (preferably DSL speed or better, but it doesn’t have to be), some time (he recommends at least 1 hour per day), and YOU–your passion, your experience, your ideas and your energy! Don’t know anything about setting up web pages? Not really a problem. Don’t know anything about marketing? Not a problem either. Don’t think anyone will pay you for what you know? David’s got great stories from people from ALL walks of life, serving other people in a myriad of different ways. Think you need more education? Again, no. You can do this NOW, though it may take a while to grow to a size that will generate a great deal of income for you. David holds your hand through every step of the way, and has “baby steps” spelled out for those who still aren’t sure they know what to do next. And if you want someone holding your hand even more, he has an internet community and group ready to step in and support you (for an optional and reasonable monthly fee).

Will this turn out to be as great as it seems? Who knows? I’ve only just started on this adventure. What I do know is that David Wood has inspired me to get past hurdles I’ve never been able to overcome in the past. I’m farther than ever, and it’s directly due to reading this book, and taking the steps he outlines. I think it’s been worth my time, and it’s probably worth yours, too.

      • Thanks, David. I’m glad you liked it. Weirdly, I don’t see this review when I click on the tab for my reviews at Amazon. I’m puzzled. I’ll have to see what the deal is.

BTW, it took me several tries to get in on the Training Course. I was offline at home for over a week, and then when I tried to get on to the live call tonight, I couldn’t. But I FINALLY got the e-mail in time (about 11:20pm…) and was able to sign up with Paypal. I liked that option, because I was able to use the money I’d made from my first-ever teleseminar that I co-facilitated a couple of months back. I’m really hoping that you can show me how to make that process go a LOT smoother, and to make me a lot more money per unit of effort and time, because man, THAT course was hard to do AND we had very few signups (and a lot of glitches). But hey, that’s why I’m here now…so I can learn from you and others. And the good news is that even though the class was too rough to sell as a product, now I’ve got material for my first free download. :^D

Thanks for your inspiration, and your community building!

Books describing how to build a website are a dime a dozen. But books on how to uncover what you are good at and passionate about, well, that’s a rarity.

David Wood has created a combination of the two, and that is a rarity indeed.

Whoever you are, wherever you’ve been in your life, you almost certainly know something that others want to know. In “Get Paid for Who You Are,” there are practical exercises that lead you through discovering your authentic self, and then provide an easy-to-follow guide for turning that knowledge into a website that will pay you for who you are, and what you know.

Follow-up resources provide a ready-made support community for you, where you can find others who are on a similar path so you can help keep each other on track.

This book is a shining star among self-help books.

David Wood has covered all the bases for starting an online business.

He has spent a lot of time discussing what you will give and who you will give it to.

He has a buddy web page that has inspired lots of small mastermind groups to encourage each other to get our first business website up and running.

I am sharing my marketing knowledge with my group and they are inspiring me too.

I highly recommend you get the book and donate to a favorite charity of his or your own. I donated to Change the world that builds schools in the slums of Africa. Every dollar goes to the case. Run by all non-paid volunteers.
