We had well over 1,000 registrations for what was one of the most powerful teleclasses I’ve been on.
As promised, the recording link was emailed to everyone who registered for the call. Also as promised, the link was posted for 72 hours and then removed.
Why? Because it’s too easy to let things slide when there’s no deadline. Let’s create a culture of ACTION in our new community!
While this will likely create disappointment for the people who missed it, be sure to check your emails when you get them, because today’s resource might need consuming today
Also be sure to register for a call even if you can’t make it (you’ll often get the recording announcement).
The recording has been posted in Get Paid University at http://www.GetPaidForWhoYouAre.com/access.
If you were on the call – what COMMITMENT will you make? Post it here on the blog and include a deadline.
Cheers!
David
P.S. Would you believe the Chief Marketing Officer of Kodak dropped in?!!!? (And you can get his new book The Mirror Test here)
Hello David,
Well for those that want a website, and don’t know how to do it: Here’s a really good tip: Vistaprint. com has a free website thingy, that is really easy to use, free the first month and then £2.99pm, but you have to invwariably have to upgrade to get all the widgets and fancy stuff. It goes up to 16.99 I think. I’m still on the free trial and did my website this week. I feel like a pro, and I think David’s ‘super- positivity’ had something to do with it. I still haven’t been able to get onto the online things the people (above) talk about. I can just get these pages. Very frustrating, but good enough that I got a webpage not being at all PC lit.
Thanks everyone! Andrea

I sure missed something when I missed the live call!
My commitment is to read 1/2 the book by Wednesday.
What I got from the call was that I’m not alone with my struggles! Other people are experiencing the same issues that I am.
Something that is over looked by “gurus” though, is that failure is expensive! Most of us cannot afford to fail – and, the money we invest might be all the money we have. That is the place I am at.
My money is tapped. I have absolutely no one that is willing to help. In fact, no one is willing to even support me emotionally in my goal. They would rather I work a minimum wage job for the rest of my life!
So, I am on my own. But maybe I will find a buddy and the encouragement will works its wonders? That is my hope.
Thanks for the book – I’ll start in 20 minutes.
Just need to wash the dishes first!

If you put one foot into the dream, you will be amazed how life will start working on your favor. I call it God, the creator, who is on my side for whatever there is that comes my way.
You will find that one voice inside of you that will guide you and will inspire you. You are not alone.
Money is not the problem, when we let life become bigger then us, than it is a problem. I have much hope for you. You are here, look at where you are.
I heard today. There are no straight lines in the universe, what it means is, when we look ahead we think we see the end, but the truth is, as soon as we walk a little further that is not the end anymore.

Celia,
I don’t have a website Yet.I’m absolutely passionate about mentoring and motivating students entering college, through college and getting on their feet after college. Young people between 17-27 years. My problem is how do I put them all under one Umbrella
The college student is highly important setting up for the first year – awareness mindset, goals vision, outcome etc
Colleg students probably could not afford to pay – how do I market this to parents, graduates entering the work force – how do i include them.
Perhaps I could do a different blog for each
This is where I want to be- helping young people get on the right track and making an impact on the world
I thought my domaine name might be “College-life Success Preparedness” This is too ambiguous and long and not hooky enough.
Do you have a suggestion?

It is amazing the that this way of share can change the form to make Network marketing at business, I am really excited, because never before I meet someone that can teach me to share and make business, almost everyone else talking about sell & sell, and profits, etc., that´s good but I needed to find something more, something that make sense to all this crazy thing that involves the Marketing.
I love business, I love Marketing on the web, but I love too help to others and now with your help David all the things that I want to make have more value.
This audio it´s great, to me the most important it´s that I feel passion, and a great energy, that give me courage to go on.
The second one it´s that I am almost finish a product to help to the small business to grow up, here at my country Mexico the people need good products to increase the presence of the companies on the web, I think that I have one good key to do that, my fellows and I develop a new CMS to create professional web sites, nice and easy, at very small price. I am going to give some free web sites, to very small companies or charity companies.
You show us the picture David, We are very glad with you, thank you, to shows us to share, and to believe that we can make a change.

Hey David. How was your weekend. I hope you had a great one.
I wanted to know more about the twitter thing. As I said I didn’t get in the call till the last 10 minutes and I know you asked to the people to raise a hand, press #3, if we wanted to be like an “insider” so we can be part of the Freedom Ninja. I sent an email to solutionbox.com and I got Sara, saying to listen to the recording so I would get all the info. But on the call, after you asked to press #3 you said you would be contacting was for a follow up. I WAN TO TO BE A NINJA FREEDOM. I love tweeting and I don’t even remember how to send the books to the people anymore. I have the map on my blog, on face book, but I don’t know if when I am sending or tweeting it that will tell you that was from me.

Hey Veronica
I live in the US. I am in Florida right now but packing to move to Dallas, TX in about 12 days.
We can work on it together. Than we can send it to a certified translator for do the final edit, like David said, then we could set up a blog me and you to spread the word.
I love Portuguese and English and I think we need to get started ASAP.
Lets talk. My email is
celia_dias[AT]yahoo.com
and I will give you my cell #.
Awesome. How excited is that?
And David nothing will be done without your approval. I am a photographer and journalist, so I value copyright.

Hey thanks David. We will have to look for all the requirements first, guidelines etc. Then, we will submit it to a certified translator and then with your final Ok before we would do anything to spread the word in the Portuguese speaking people. Do you know, I have so many people that came to my head the moment I got your book, I thought, “if they could just read this book”.
Specially now that I found Veronica to partner with me. Things could go wild.

David, Thank you! I’ve just finished listening to the recording (your deadline really prompted me into action) and I’ve very excited about finishing your book. My #1 takeaway from the recording is something you said in the first few seconds of the call and that is “be authentic.” We are all so different with much to share and your comments reinforced that my business idea (being of service to therapy horses and special needs riders through telepathy) is indeed authentic. I’m claiming it and moving forward! Thank you, Kelly

David,
Thanks and I also appreciate that you are genuine. I have also been disappointed on other calls that were ego based. I have been on this path for a while and have many ideas, information and positive experiences to share. Focus is my problem and where to start. I do need a buddy or two to aid in formation of a solid foundation, to keep me focused and in the right mind set and to help hone my plan for success, growth and expansion. I want to be ready when things take off-ready for my success and for the opportunity to give more to charity as well. The action plans and accountibility model has helped for my progress and will be incorporated into my products as well. Getting over the fear & guilt that show up as resistance and procrastination are such big hurdles for so many. Change being one of the only universal constants, but we constantly fear it. Change has always evolved into opportunity. I will be shopping for buddies world wide now instead of just among my family and friends-BIG shift for me, which I am so grateful for. I know I can’t do it alone, now I see that path opening up-the connection to like minds that want to do good in the world and find joy on the journey.

Hey Deb
I feel like you are my soul sister. I am exactly like that. Hard to focus, try to get everything ready before I “start it right”. And that is when we get stuck. I learned that I cannot wait till I am ready, because I will never be. This challenge we are in is a life challenge, and is not like we go to college and the day we get the diploma we are ready. Have you noticed that most people get really lost when they graduate?
There is no date to be ready. We are ready today. Just by taking one step towards our goal is been ready.
Remember what Jeffrey Hayzlett , the guy from Kodak said, we will have to constantly refine ourselves?
I would love to be freedom-buddy with you. I know we can help each other.
Much Love

Hi David,
I’m listening to the call as I write, and I’m afraid the guy from Kodak has just frightened the life out of me and made me feel like running in the opposite direction as fast as I can. In fact, the only reason I’m still here at all is because it’s YOU I want to listen to, not him. I’ve had that full-on I’M-A-CORPORATE-MORON approach so much over the past few years, and also when I was much younger and first dipped my toe into the sales world. I don’t like it. It’s rude, mindless and unintelligent.
What I like about your approach is that you haven’t asked me for any money, yet, and you genuinely seem to want to help people to help themselves make some money as well as others. You seem to me to have a well-thought-out process for empowering us all to make a success of our lives both financially and creatively. It’s your stuff I want to hear not a quick ad from one of those corporate morons I’m trying my best to leave behind and not become like. If you’ve read my posts, particularly my ‘why’, you’ll know that what I have to sell is books, and how I want to help others is by offering them an experience that they can learn from, or just feel that they are not the only one who has experienced something painful. That’s a big mandate, and the reason I haven’t sold myself before is because it’s perhaps a bit arrogant to say ‘learn from my mistakes’, and expect people to pay for the privilege. But the point is that this stuff isn’t the kind of material that needs to be rammed down other people’s throats just because I want to make some money. It’s spiritual and sometimes delicate stuff that people generally would have to seek out, and the business I build around it is not going to be one with a ‘fleece’em while I can’ ethos that hits them in the face.
Does any of this make sense from a business point of view? Is there any room for spirituality in business? And can you help me find the path to unleashing it? I’ve got to Chapter 4 and I’m in the process of setting up my website. I’ve answered all your email challenges with blog posts in the appropriate places. I’ll be meeting with my “buddy”, who is one of the people I reached with the book, some time during this coming week – and if he doesn’t agree you’ll hear me shouting from down under! Is there anything more I should be doing?
Thanks and blessings,
Tally

Hi Tally
Not sure you are fuly congruent with wanting David’s stuff for free while selling to your clients………..We can only ask of others what we have invested in ourselves, and that includes the money we have spent on self development, learning marketing skills, training etc.
I know this sounds harsh, but it is true….subconsciously we only expect of others what we are prepared to pay ourselves, so limiting ourselves to only wanting free stuff means that your prospective clients will only accept free stuff from you and not buy from you at all!

Thanks Carol,
This wasn’t actually about money, it was more about the approach, which in David’s case I like but in Kodak man’s case I didn’t. And, as a novelist, of course I want to sell books, but not at the expense of manners and humanity.
But perhaps you’re right, when David does finally ask me for money and as usual I haven’t got it to give because I’ve been on the sick so long I just don’t have any, maybe I’ll feel as cheated as I have done for the past 5 years while I’ve been trying to find someone to teach me internet marketing and have experienced being ‘fleeced’ in all its glory. I really do hope not though because at the moment I think David has got what I want, and that sense of hope feels so good.
Thanks again and brightest blessings,
Tally

Hi David,
You worked on your book for 2 years. How do you suggest balancing creative output with daily livelihood while compiling material for a life-changing product?
The formula is there…what is the inner work that makes it possible, to arrive at the action steps in the book?
It takes a great deal of focus and clarity of purpose to shape a vision. How do I get out of my own way to see that vision through to completion?
Thank you for your valuable guidance and feedback! It is truly beneficial. Kendra

My takeaway: focus. I am an idea generator with many and varied skills. I have too many things in the works:
1. I help home buyers make smart choices and relocate to Santa Fe, NM – through the (virtual) real estate agency I’ve owned for 7 years.
2. I help mid-life women create healthy, joyful relationships to self, others and work – through the website and blog (along with books, coaching services & workshops) I’m developing.
3. I help small business owners achieve their goals by providing integrated online marketing services – through a collective of creative women via an online business (offering strategic planning, copy writing, graphic and web design, social networking integration, and on-going maintenance and support for their plan).
4. Finally, I help women express and enjoy their freedom and love of travel through a website that combines the knowledge, services and products to best support them.
While #1 is well in place, the other 3 – all of which I am passionate about and are part of “my story” and expertise – are in development. I have a “track record” and know what to do, but I don’t have the time and resources to devote to all 3 at once. I need/want to prioritize, to consider what is most “monetize-able” and would give me the greatest joy, and others the greatest benefit.
I am seeking a business partner (angel) who has the expertise, passion and funds to work with me in developing and cleverly launching one or more of these ideas. If interested, google me and contact at InhabitYourDreams-at-gmail-dot-com. I look forward to hearing from you – I know you’re “out there”!

Celia, Thank you for your faith, and David for the international community of authentic individuals you are creating.
In my post (above, May 18, 2:15pm), I enumerated 4 different businesses. An unexpected phone call Saturday from a childhood friend – with whom I reconnected a year ago, ostensibly thanks to Facebook – gave me tremendous clarity.
He, an M.D., and I are now moving forward with a collaboration – my coaching for mid-life transitions (#2) and his aesthetic medicine expertise – to offer support and services to enhance and empower both inner and outer beauty, confidence, joy, love and purposeful work in the world.
My business development skills (#3) will serve our business, but will not be the main focus of my work. Additionally, and excitingly, this holistic practice will provide opportunities for me to facilitate personal-growth-oriented travels and workshops around the world (#4).
We plan to be based in NYC (where he is licensed) and are seeking investors/partners. I envision living in a loft in Tribeca (or similar)…so if this speaks to you, please respond to me at InhabitYourDreams (at) gmail (dot) com
Many blessings and success to all in this amazing online community! – Aysha

Fantastic call! Unfortunately I had to listen to the recording so i did not get the benefit of the breakout calls. However, the one thing that I found very helpful is the concept that it’s better to get moving and fail, then never to get started at all!

Hey David! I was registered for your call and was only able to listen to the recording. It was GREAT! My takeaway is that I have finally found the steps to take to fulfill my vision. Getting from A to Z has always been a problem as I like to stay in the visionary stuff. So, THANK YOU!
I commit to finishing the book by Wednesday and I’m currently searching my contacts for a Freedom Buddy.
I have a question though regarding target markets. I consider myself a Spiritual Seeker and I want to help others along the path, but that seems like a pretty broad market AND I feel like people get scared away by the word spiritual and truly it only refers to who we truly are – magnificent beings who are not using even a small percentage of who we really are. Got any insights as to how I can begin targetting people?

decide if you’re targeting people comfortable with the word spiritual, or people who aren’t. If the latter, you’ll want to call iti something else.
Not I think it’s hard to get people to pay for ‘spiritual coaching’. but if you called it stress management, or purpose coaching or vision coaching I think you’d get more clients, more revenue, and you can still work on the spiritual stuff.

I have a request. I have an older eMac and do not have right click. I am unable to download the call and save it.
Hopefully something can be done about that for future calls.
I am moving on.

Hey David,
thanks a lot for the book and the call… Being in the E.U it was a bit late for me to attend ( even though I tried to stay awake until 3:00am, I only lasted until 2:20am… close, but no cigar:) )
Anyway.
What I got from the call is that everybody CAN do this, and there’s no such thing as a “best topic for business or sharing” out there. Everything and anything is of interest to many people.
What i commit to doing before next week is over is to shoot the promo video for my guitar playing program @ http://www.masterguitarplaying.com and upload it and have the first 5 newsletter issues written.
Thanks again.

Hi David, I’ve just listened to the teleseminar recording and downloaded it, Thankyou. The No.1 thing I gained with the help of your speaker, yourself and your partner was how to COMMENCE MARKETING the gift and experience others seek from me and thereby expand my realm. I greatly appreciate. Toby.

My commitment is I will have my first freebie and product for sale on my 4 day old website by this weekend with paypal.

Hello David,
Thank you for having the call and giving all of us a chance to share. Right here, I’d like to thank you for being ‘genuine’. I am not making a joke. I too have listened to other telecalls and hung up in the first 10 minutes because they were just ego-basters talk. (Like turkey-basters squirting juice for their ego’s – ok that was a joke).
You, sir, on the other hand, are very genuine. That is what is helping create the excitment here – because you are straight from the gut, laced with encouragement and kindness, but still like a wide-eyed explorer right along side us. Thanks so much for being you and helping all of us. Your genuineness and honesty really showed in the call.
For the details of the call:
I made the commitment to finish the book by Wednesday (this week).
Just do things one step at a time. Like one foot follows the other. (sometimes I leap ahead and have to go back three steps) So this was a timely reminder. It had an emotional effect of calming me.
I got it this time (It was also in your book) about the importance of an elevator pitch – 118 seconds (a lifetime really)
I am reminded to also to bear in mind this question – What are you going to solve for your customer? Sometimes I get stuck in the process of “what am I going to say” and forget “Who am I saying it for anyway!”. So good reminder. This was also covered in your book. Sometimes though the power of the spoken word really gets it into my head better.
Ok – I savewd the biggie for last –
Get a Buddy!! Well I’d like to make an announcement here – I met my Buddy in the call. Hi Jen! and thank you very much. By the way David, I think many of us met and made friends during that call.
David, I would like to make a personal observation. You can erase this comment before you post if you like. What you do that is so very important for the development of each of us and the human race is that you create a ‘safe’ space for us to open our emotions enough to let down our guard and actually have honest interactions, make friends and feel like- “it’s Ok to be just us. We are good enough” Thank you David and God Bless you!

Oh yea, I also loved the polling and interactiveness.
I also am tentatively inquiring about the being part of the Ninja team, although I am not sure that I would be able to contribute too well.
And it was amazing being paired up with people of like mind. Our group ended up only being the two of us but it was a wee bit shocking to find we had similar insterests. When we returned to the call, it was obvious that many others had similar ‘pairing up’ experiences. Is this something you were able to organize through the phone lines or was this indeed ‘Divine Intervention”? I really don’t care which, I am just so relieved and happy that this whole thing is happening. Thanks again, David, for making a safe place for us.

Hi David,
Amazing call yesterday! I am in totally agreement with a lot of the other posts, you do come across as genuine and sincere, and that’s what has kept me in the game this long. I’m almost into chapter 7, but I went back to work on my elevator pitch. I’m one of the committed who will have the book finished by Wednesday. I have to admit I have been letting my fears hold me back from setting up a relationship with a Freedom Buddy, so I commit to do that also by Wednesday.
What I took away from the call is something that has gotten me through other challenges in life, that someone (you David) believes that I can do it, so I now believe as well. My commitment is to see this thing through and help as many people as I can from the experience.
I was already seeking the knowledge and a way to explore an idea that I have had on my heart for some time, and one day I was given your link through a Face Book friend, so my time is now. “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear” –Buddhist Proverb—
You are truly awesome my man, keep up the great work you are doing.

Hi David, I got in the call late, 10minutes to the end. But, it was a big step for me because in the past, not long ago, I would not have called, and I would be unhappy and frustrated for missing it. I took action anyway, this is what I took from the “call”,
now I am in th recording and I already got a buddy on the next city I am moving to.
Great stuff.

The # 1 thing I am taking away from this call is the reminder that most successes come after failure- The colonel of KFC fame was told “No” 1000 times before he made it with his “secret recipe”. #2 was the visualizing of target audience and giving names and personality!! Fantastic.

Hey there, read the book cover to cover the day I got it and loved it so I was super excited to hear about the call. Wasn’t able to listen live but I just finished listening to the recording. Way too much wonderful information! I have a lot of passions — from breaking horses to painting to singing to cooking — can you tell I’m ADHD? Right now I’m focusing on the graphic design/art side (evenings and weekends). I want to do posters and promotional material for fairs and rodeos. It’s such a niche market that I’m having trouble figuring out how to “serve” a lot of people and I’m definitely limited by the amount of time I have.
Would I be better off going a different direction to implement all the freedom steps?

if you consider the whole world, I would think there are enough rodeos and fairs to target. You could become known as the expert, then branch out.

You’re a gem! Here I’ve been thinking locally (well over 100 fairs and rodeos in this state alone) but you are so right. There are thousands! One thing I’m doing as well is donating pieces of art to fund raisers for rodeo clubs and for the kids of cowboys killed in the arena. It’s amazing how just reading the book opened up all kinds of doors both internally and externally. Thanks a million!

Great Idea Jess! I am marketing to horse people as well – what state are you in?
Do you take photos at rodeos? You could also submit those to local papers to boost your name recognition!
Works for me – I also write stories about horse groups and interesting individual riders, so that’s a bonus.
Don’t forget about 4-H rodes events!

Hi Betsy,
I’m in CA and I do take photos at non-PRCA rodeos. Eventually when I get a faster lens, I would like to be a legit rodeo photographer as well. Right now I’m working for a County Fair, as much as 60 hrs/wk but as soon as this gig ends, I’ll be out taking pictures whenever I can. In the meantime, I’m working like crazy to get paintings finished as I’m going to have a booth at the Western States Horse Expo.

Awesome call last evening David. Thank you for getting all of us together no matter what stage we are on our business journey. I am commited to finishing up reading the book. I am excited for I have got my webpage set up and My clinentle that I want to work with. I am about to launch my book “The Forgotten Child” on amozon.com in june which coincides with my target market kids ages 15-23 to find their souls purpose. Although my story is about grwoing up in an abusive home but the grace that did come into my life and I found my souls purpose after struggling for many years. My biggest issue is which you touched on the getting paid part and getting the attention of the kids I want to help. I have in many ways already been working with kids teaching, coaching and speacking at schools, that mimimally. If you have any suggestions that would be great. http://www.HeartsofHealing.org Thanks again for everything your are amazing.

Thank you for this amazing conference call David. I have never experienced it structured this way soooo effectively! With polls, so I know you really care where we are at and want to tune into that and then a split in little groups to actually being able to talk little with each other. Amazing.
What I got out of it is that I am not alone, but major that I should not do it alone.
I often feel so strong and enthusiastic and when I ask someone for help, I see them thinking “I can’t help you, you know already everything, and with your enthusiasm there is nothing more I can do…” But I do need help like everybody else! Help! So if squeezing a little mouse sound ‘help!’ is for me getting out of my comfort zone then I am doing that right now…..

We wound up as three artists in our conference call group: Caroline, June and me. All at different stages and all moving out of our comfort zones. Your event allowed us to share and to gain confidence as well as enthusiasm for the adventure. The extra chat time at the end kept us awake for another hour.
As for the comfort zone, I’ve been out of mine so often I’ve forgotten what it looks/feels like. Started when I took two daughters to England in 1971 and stayed for 12 years. But I’ve never done a Mr. Woody!
Still waiting for my hard copy of the book, but I’ll finish the glarey one by Wednesday and start using it for my husband’s web plans, too.
Thank you David and Co.,

David and Crew – Ezra, Jefferey Hayzlett, tech guys – Thanks for the motivating call. Have exchanged info with the break out group so we can support and brainstorm w/each other! Guest speaker Jeffrey Hayzlett, loved his way of explaining target market visulization, useful. Everything in the call was useful! Came out of it feeling very ninja!
During the call I had a huge shift – toward my giveaway product and how to make it work online! Something marvelous clicked. My “job”? Helping people have fun and helping kids heal through horses by marketing my art! You are helping put the pieces of the jigsaw together! Action! Commitment… gotta go read more of the book. Thank you for motivating us in such a fun AND educational way. And a special thank you to the people who pressed #3 – “No not for me” and were willing to be engaged in the process anyway. They, with your coaching, helped a lot of others, including me, take another step.

Thank you, David, for this Conference Call.
It was a wonderful experience since you really kept it exciting by bringing people together.
I have attended several conference calls, but yours stood out by making it a lot more interactive.
Unfortunately after the official time was over and we had the chance to meet back in our group I was the only one left.
What I loved most is your willingness to walk us through step-by-step, and being present after you have presented your book to us.
I would love to be a part of your Ninja-Team … smiles ….
Just let me know which exact next steps you wish to take so I can help you market your book even better.
I did post it on Twitter many times over. When I went to see my ‘track record’ I noticed that one of my friends have opened the link to receive your information. I am sure as much as I have tweeted your book, I should have had a better rate.
Or, maybe when I post the link on Twitter, it doesn’t track it back to my persona anymore?
Please let me know,as it is good to get feed-back, so I know I am on the ‘right track’.
Thanks again for sharing with all of us,
sincerely

Hello Kendra,
the Ninja Team will help to promote David’s book even more. We will await details from David. In order to participate there was a chance to opt-in by pressing the number 1 on your phone.
I deeply share your experience of how you feel about this ‘world-consciousness’ …
I feel that you and I may have something in common about what our goals are to bring about Change for a better world for us all.
What exactly is your ‘elevator pitch’, Kendra?
Here is mine. “I wish to help woman whom have been in bad relationships to feel better about themselves”
This is simply a beginning and resonates the most concerning my personal life at this point and time.
Yet, it is ‘just’ the tip of the iceberg of what my long term goal is.
If you are interested to buddy-up, please feel free to connect with me via e-mail at yvanne66atyahoo.com
I also have joined a Mastermind Group, which Wyman Crane will be hosting. At this point and time we are looking to find out what is the best time for participants to join a tele-seminar.
It was great to hear you at tonight’s Conference Call.
Blessings to you,
Yvonne.

Hi David, I ordered your book and paid the postage, but never received the hard copy.
I had it sent to my son’s address in San Antonio, Texas, since I live in Costa Rica but was coming to Texas for a visit. I have looked at the e-book, but that does not really work for me as a hard copy does. Please mail me my book.
I looked all over your website and different correspondences you have sent me, but never found a phone number or way to contact you. So I am hoping this gets through to you and I get the book you promised!
